PROPAK ENERGY SERVICES is a proven established leader in engineering, fabrication, construction, and servicing of gas compression and processing facilities for the energy industry. With 40 years in the energy industry, Propak is an authorized distributor for Ariel, Endyn, Dresser-Rand, Gemini, Sullair and Mycom compressors. It is GE’s Gas Compression Platinum Power Packager and a Caterpillar GCCP member. We are currently seeking a Field Sales Account Manager (North) to regularly call on current and potential field customers in Northern Alberta, promoting the branches and regions parts and service capabilities for compressors and processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• To maintain a high degree of efficiency and productivity while operating in an organized, constructive and responsive manner. • To foster an atmosphere of being “easy to do business with” with other groups, departments, suppliers and our external customers, through an attitude of cooperation, flexibility and teamwork. • To ensure that adherence to branch and corporate standards are maintained, and that an initiative towards ongoing production and service method improvement is encouraged. • To prepare regular reports on sales activities within the role, and to communicate those activities to the management team on a regular basis. • To mentor the local field services technicians so that they can effectively assist selling efforts as well as to provide guidance to all branch staff, contributing to their ongoing training and development. • To provide a resource for other company employees, and attend customer or other meetings as may be requested or deemed necessary. • To facilitate the maintenance and improvement of customer satisfaction, service and product quality and project profitability, utilizing available resources and individual knowledge and abilities. • To have input in department’s annual promotional budgeting activities.

Qualitifications :

• A strong background in the rotating and / or plant processing equipment field, including familiarity with packaging, fabrication, quality control and welding methods. • Prior journeyman certification as a millwright or heavy duty mechanic is preferred. • 3 to 5 years of related sales experience in the rotating and / or plant processing equipment field. • A thorough understanding of mechanical and process systems with a strong emphasis on modular gas compression equipment and module processing equipment. • Knowledgeable in the principles, terminology and applications of rotating and plant equipment and control systems. • Mature organizational skills consistent with sound fabrication and procession methods. • A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with internal and external customers, coworkers, suppliers and other departments.
